Text-Specific DVDs. New!
These DVDs feature 10- to 20-minute problem-solving lessons presented by Rena Petrello, and cover nearly all learning objectives from every section of each chapter.
As a professor of Mathematics for over ten years, Rena Petrello has been awarded the “Mark Dever Award for Excellence in Teaching,” and served as both the Department Chair and Senator of Oxnard College’s Academic Senate.
Currently teaching at Moorpark College in California, (the community college Rena attended as a student) she initiated and developed the first online mathematics courses at her college. It was through the online teaching experience that Rena discovered the lack of suitable content for online instructors, which caused her to develop her own video lessons—and ultimately create this video project.
Rena’s videos have been nominated for several awards, and she has received a tremendous amount of enthusiastic, positive feedback from students. We think your students will get excited about these videos and find them an extremely valuable resource in their learning of mathematics.
Videos are available as a set of DVDs for student purchase through their bookstore or bundled with a Cengage Learning textbook. The videos will also be available online for individual purchase.
